Details
This 2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR 60th Anniversary Edition was optioned with the carbon-fiber track pack and Technology Package. It was sent to Shelby American to be fitted with one of a reported 180 with Shelby GT500KR Packages produced between 2020 and 2022. It is powered by a 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger kit fitted to the 5.2-liter V8 engine backed by a Tremec 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. In addition to a Borla exhaust system and Brembo brakes, this example also received forged-alloy 20-inch wheels, height-adjustable suspension springs and return of the MagneRide dampers. Finished in Carbonized Gray Metallic, the exterior features carbon-fiber bodywork and trim, HID headlights and a carbon-fiber rear wing, along with adding the Shelby Widebody Kit. The interior features Recaro seats reupholstered in black leather with red accents, along with rear seat delete with harness bar, a Bang & Olufsen sound system and an 8-inch touchscreen with Sync 3 infotainment.
