This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 50th Anniversary Edition is finished in its original Millennium Yellow paint with a black leather interior. It is powered by its original 5.7-liter LS6 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. Based on the modern LS1, the LS6 V8 has a refined aluminum block, a camshaft with more lift, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, and improved air and oil flow. In order to improve chassis stiffness, the C5 Z06 was limited to fixed-roof coupes. It also included mesh grille inserts and a quad-exit exhaust system. Weight-saving features included thinner glass and less sound-deadening than the original C5, and the Z06 suspension has a larger front stabilizer bar, more damping and a higher spring rate. Additionally, this car is outfitted with rack & pinion power steering that is speed-sensitive, vented disc brakes on all four corners, hideaway headlights, active handling and traction control systems, rear brake vents, Z06 and 50th anniversary badges, and 17- and 18-inch chrome Speedline alloy wheels. A six-way power-adjustable driver's seat with memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, an onboard computer, head-up display, cruise control, power-adjustable driver's seat, electrochromic mirrors and a Bose sound system with a leather-wrapped steering wheel are just a few of the creature comforts available.
