Details

This 1999 Ford F-150 Lightning custom pickup is powered by an upgraded 7.3-liter ProCharged Godzilla engine out of a Ford F-250, mated to a 6R80 automatic transmission. It is equipped with a Willis Performance camshaft package and a ProCharger D-1SC. Stainless Works long-tube headers were installed, backed by a full custom stainless X-pipe and a set of MagnaFlow mufflers. A Derale transmission cooler was also installed to keep the temps cool. A U.S. Shift controller was added to make sure that the transmission hits all the shift points correctly. The factory OEM frame has been detailed and powder-coated. The front suspension consists of Stifflers upper and lower control arms, along with a set of RideTech coilovers. The rear suspension is set up using a Reklez 3-link with QA1 coilovers; the frame was C-notched to gain the extra ground clearance. For stopping power, there is a combination of Wilwood and Lil Shop MFG 16-inch cross-drilled and power slotted rotors and 6-piston front and rear calipers. The truck's stance is then finished off with a staggered set of 24-inch Intro Wheels' Split 5 design. The exterior of the truck has been painstakingly gone through inch by inch to make sure it maintained the factory appearance. The rear bumper has been shaved, the bed has been tubbed to fit those massive 24x14-inch wheels. The engine bay has been shaved and all the wiring hidden to make that ProCharged 7.3 Godzilla the centerpiece. Once all the body mods had been finished up, the truck was then painted Ford OEM Rapid Red Tintcoat. The interior on the truck at first glance appears to be close to stock, but it is far from it. The whole interior has been gone through and wrapped in Chestnut-colored leather, giving this muscle truck the feel of luxury.
