This collectible 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car convertible is powered by an aluminum LS1 V8 engine with electronic fuel injection paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. It sits on a four-wheel independent suspension and is equipped with the Active Handling Package, speed-sensitive rack & pinion power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, quad exhaust outlets, power windows and power door locks. Exterior features include a black convertible top, retractable headlights, fog lights and power-adjustable heated side-view mirrors. It is finished in Radar Blue, also referenced as "Pace Car Purple," with yellow stripes, red accents, Indy Pace Car decal and a yellow graphics package with a checkered flag motif. This Corvette rides on 17-inch and 18-inch yellow-painted wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The interior features yellow and black upholstered sport seats, black dashboard, door panels, carpeting and center console, along with embroidered Indianapolis 500 floor mats, power-adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control, Delco AM/FM/CD stereo and Bose audio with speed-compensated volume.
