This 1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is the recipient of a multi-year nut-and-bolt restoration. It is equipped with a rebuilt powertrain, including its original rebuilt 3.9-liter inline-6 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with power steering and front disc brakes with all-new wiring throughout. Custom touches include a 4-inch Rough Country suspension lift, a custom roll bar, off-road jack mount, full-size spare carrier, jerrycan mount with both water and new factory gas jerrycans, and a Mitt Brown vinyl interior. Other than the custom touches and Pertronix ignition, factory Toyota OEM/NOS parts were always used for attention to detail. It was built to use with steel half doors and shown bikini top, although it also includes a new, full Bestop soft-top with windows, and doors, for longer road trips or winter use.
