Details

This custom 1972 Chevrolet K10 short-bed pickup underwent a complete frame-off build by Hill's Hot Rods. It is powered by a 6.2-liter LT Engine with a Holley mid-mount serpentine front runner and custom valve covers. It has an 8L90 automatic transmission backed by an Atlas II 3.0 transfer case. The engine bay has been completely shaved, refined and the wiring is hidden. A brand-new aluminum radiator has been used, along with dual electric fans and custom-built air intake. The pickup was taken to bare metal and completely reworked, including perfecting the door gaps for a high-end finish. This pickup has been painted with PPG basecoat/clearcoat Army Green and accented by Pure White, including the underbody that is coated in Raptor Liner color-match coating. It has all-new clear glass, weatherstripping and rubber throughout, with all-new chrome and side trim. The gas tank has been moved to the rear using a Tanks Inc. tank. This K10 sits on a set of 17x9 Raceline Defender wheels wrapped in 35-inch Toyo Open Country M/T tires. The chassis is finished in Gloss Black and has new brake lines, fuel lines and body bushings. This pickup sits on an Offroad Designs soft-ride 4-inch lift and has Fox shocks with crossover steering, along with Amp Research retracting steps to make the new height no problem. Both the front and rear axles were fitted with new finned differential covers. The full custom interior is wrapped in Moore & Giles Amber leather by JD's Glassworks, who also handled the complete Kicker audio system and sound-deadening mat. The seat is a reshaped bolstered Snowden foam covered in Moore & Giles leather. The dash is finished off with a set of Dakota Digital VHX gauges and a new Vintage Air Gen-5 climate-control system. **TITLED AS 1972 CHEVROLET ZZZ**
