This Pro-Touring 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible underwent a complete nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration. Built on a custom Schwartz chassis, it is powered by a Chevrolet Performance Connect & Cruise kit featuring a 6.2-liter GM LT1 V8 engine paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, McLeod hydraulic clutch and a short shifter. Torque is delivered to the 3.73 rear end via a custom aluminum driveshaft. RideTech coilovers enhance the chassis' handling with steering through a power rack & pinion setup. A Wilwood Big Brake Kit with a power booster and new brake lines ensures stopping power, while a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual fans maintains optimal engine cooling. A custom stainless-steel fuel system, including tank, lines and pump, supplies the engine. The meticulously restored exterior showcases high-gloss black PPG paint finish with SS-style red stripes. Subtle enhancements include color-matched bumpers, billet hood hinges, custom SS badging, smoked taillights, and Ringbrothers billet handles and mirrors.
