This 1970 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup is a recipient of a complete frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration that took over 2,000 hours to complete. It is powered by a 6.0-liter LS LQ9 V8 engine paired with a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine has been upgraded with a Truck Norris camshaft from Brian Tooley Racing boasting 425hp, while the engine block was painted to match the exterior, and it has a custom-painted engine cover. The engine exhales out of a 2.5-inch ceramic-coated exhaust system with stainless-steel and TIG-welded Flowmaster mufflers. It is also equipped with an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, rebuilt front and rear differentials, custom aluminum deep sump transmission pan, and custom front and rear driveshafts painted with basecoat/clearcoat to match. It sits on a modern all-wheel-drive GM chassis with independent front suspension, four-link rear suspension, and front and rear sway bars. This pickup sits on a 3-inch suspension lift with Rancho shocks, and rides on custom 18-inch Mobsteel 6-lug wheels with restored GM OEM dog dish hubcaps and 33-inch General Grabber tires with red and white lettering to match. The chassis has been metalworked, smoothed and powder-coated, while all exterior sheet metal was replaced, then the interior and exterior were coated with epoxy primer. The exterior is finished in a GM Pull Me Over Red and GM White basecoat/clearcoat inside and outside, then color sanded and buffed. The exterior features an oak bed with Ebony stain and stainless trim strips with exterior-matching wood-grain moldings. The TMI interior is finished in black and red plaid and features Dakota Digital VHX gauges, a RetroSound stereo, a Vintage Air system, and GM sound-deadener paint and HushMat.
