Originally sold in Tulsa, OK, this 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 CJ fastback was purchased in 2022 from the original owners and subsequently underwent an extensive concours-level nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration by Thoroughbred Restorations in Oklahoma City, which was completed in 2024. Under the hood, this pony is powered by a matching-numbers 428ci CJ Ram Air engine mated to the original C6 Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, along with the date code specific Ford 9-inch rear end with the 3.00-ratio Trac Lok rear axle. Comes equipped with the factor styled steel wheels and Polyglas tires, along with the iconic gold Mach 1 stripe and blackout hood treatment. Finished in a Candy Apple Red paint on top of all the original sheet metal, all factory markings and finishes were replicated during the restoration to preserve the authenticity of this car. The matching red interior features wood-grain accents on the dash and the original console. It features factory power steering, power brakes and AM/FM radio and factory A/C per the original sales order making this car very highly optioned for comfort and power. The included Elite Marti Report designates this Mustang as one of three produced for the model year in this configuration.
