Details

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro COPO re-creation received a rotisserie restoration and is powered by a 427ci engine refreshed by B & B Engine Services in Appleton, WI, mated to a rebuilt original GM Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a new 10.5-inch Hayes clutch. A new Hurst 4-speed shifter and rear end with 4.10 gears were installed as well, along with a new Moser 12-bolt posi-traction rear end and a new driveshaft built by Driveline Services in Green Bay, WI. A heavy-duty radiator was installed, along with all OE-style GM hose replacements. The exhaust was updated to a completely original-style chambered exhaust down to original COPO-style tailpipes. It features original-style exhaust manifolds with an original replacement smog emission system. It features an original Winters intake with a new COPO replacement carburetor. FineLine supplied all the OE brake lines, while Summit Racing provided the OE-style power brakes and master cylinder. This re-creation was completely stripped, blasted where needed and prepped for a complete rotisserie restoration. After being on the rotisserie for six months, the body was painted in 72-code Hugger Orange. It was then ready for a completely restored subframe, including all front and rear end suspension parts, all of which were blasted, primed and painted the correct colors. New GM shocks were installed front and rear, and this car rolls on 15-inch COPO wheels with new COPO replacement hubcaps, wrapped in new Coker Goodyear wide-tread tires. It also features a special induction hood, D80 Spoiler Package and radio/heater delete. This re-creation has 50 test miles on it since the restoration was completed.
