The restoration was expertly performed by the late Don Harrell, a renowned BSA craftsman and passionate motorcycle enthusiast. A precision craftsman by trade and a general contractor for over 40 years, Harrell brought his meticulous attention to detail in every motorcycle he restored, and his legacy lives on with everything on this BSA that has been tended to an exceptionally high concours level, ensuring high quality throughout. It features a fully rebuilt front fork suspension, as well as mounted chrome exhaust and fenders. This motorcycle is equipped with drum brakes and sits on classic wire wheels with Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires, 3.5x19-inch in the front and 4x18 in the rear. This Firebird has been freshly serviced by classic motorcycle specialists. The British motorcycle craftsmanship in these models were produced specifically for the American market in 1969, and represented BSA's answer to the growing demand for street scramblers that blended off-road styling with street performance.
