1967 CHEVROLET NOVA SS CUSTOM COUPE

This fully customized 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS is equipped with a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis, converted to bolt-on frame with urethane bushings (unibody delete). It is powered by a GM Performance Connect & Cruise LS3 V8 engine rated at 525hp with a Whipple 2.9-liter air-to-water cooled supercharger with 103mm throttle body, and power flowing through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission. It has a Strange rear differential narrowed 4 inches per side to allow for deep back space wheels and improved stance. The engine was set back 4 inches and lowered 2 inches for balance and hood clearance. Other powertrain custom touches include an AFCO radiator, Ultimate headers, 3-inch stainless-steel exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers and electronic cutouts with push-button control. Stopping power is provided by Baer 6-piston calipers clamping on 14-inch front and rear rotors controlled by a Wilwood pedal assembly. Thousands of hours of subtle body modifications were performed by Ron Jones Garage. The front bumper was narrowed, tucked and modified for air intake and a front chin spoiler, a 2-inch cowl hood with Mercedes Benz hood latches, custom radiator cover, one-off square pattern aluminum grille with stock grille bars, hidden blinkers, new firewall-to-trunk floor pan, vent window deleted, stainless-steel window trim deleted, modified drip rails, electric door locks, Nu-Relics electric windows, a custom rear spoiler, backup light deleted, custom rear air diffuser and a one-off aluminum two-piece trunk inlay with \"Blownaway\" script. The rear wheel wells were also stretched 3 inches to allow for tires and stance. The body was dropped on the frame 0.75 inches. The gas filler was moved behind the left digital brake light. The rear bumper was narrowed and contoured to match the body. It also features flush-mount windshield and rear glass, given this car was used by Fesler USA to help develop this flush-mount series for '62 to '67 Novas. This example rides on one-off Curtis Speed Equipment wheels by Mike Curtis wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The paint and bodywork were completed by the talented staff at Ron Jones Garage with Spies Hecker custom Glacier Ice Blue Pearl paint color, along with all nickel-plated brightwork by Ogden Chrome. The interior includes a custom metal raised dash and console by Ron Jones Garage with Relicate leather upholstery by JJ's Upholstery with Lexus 6-way front seats and Lexus rear seats. It also features an Autometer InVision digital dash, Kenwood stereo with backup camera screen, a one-piece headliner, Ididit steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage Air system, push-button start, and window and exhaust cutout controls. This Nova SS has won several awards, including Top 10 in Battle of the Builders at SEMA 2023 in Nevada, finalist for Muscle Machine at Goodguys in Texas 2023, finalist for GM Iron Builder of the Year and Best Use of Colors, Goodguys Colorado Top 10 and Pros Pick NSRA Nationals 2023 in Kentucky. It was a 2023 Street Machine of the Year finalist at Goodguys Ohio and 2024 in Omaha, NE; World of Wheels First Place Pro Touring and Best Street Machine, 2024 Salt Lake City, UT; World of Wheels First Place Pro Touring and Best Street Machine; and one of 50 selected to participate in the 2024 Barrett-Jackson Cup.
