Details

Dubbed “Cinnamon Spice,” this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible was professionally restored and custom built by Todd Compton Classic Corvettes. The build started with a clean, low-mileage, long-term-ownership ’67 convertible with an original birdcage and original VIN and Trim Tags. The new, modern foundation is made from Art Morrison mandrel-bent chassis rails equipped with GM C7 front suspension with QA1 coilover shocks and Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, along with power rack & pinion steering, all assembled by Street Shop. Power comes from a new BluePrint Engines 550hp 6.2-liter LS3 Hot Cam engine. The engine is backed by a 4L70 4-speed automatic transmission, putting power to the pavement through a 9-inch rear end held in place with a 4-link assembly and QA1 coilover suspension. The engine is dressed in billet Corvette-scripted valve covers and breathes through hand-built stainless-steel headers feeding a dual side-pipe exhaust system. It is cooled with a large aluminum radiator with twin fans. The exterior is expertly finished in a unique color-mix scheme, with great attention to detail spent on all body gaps and overall fit and finish. It is also equipped with a power-actuated hood, custom-machined billet side gills, Detroit Speed wiper and headlight controls, stainless fuel tank, stainless brake and fuel lines, and electronic e-brake system. This ‘67 convertible rides on staggered custom-machined Schott wheels, 18x8-inch up front and 20x10-inch out back, all wrapped in BFGoodrich white line tires. The custom interior is trimmed in rich two-tone Italian leather, Vanilla Cream and tan, with custom-sewn French seams. Billet accessories are used throughout the interior, which also features a Vintage Air system, power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, a polished tilt column with flat-bottom steering wheel and tastefully done tinted windows. This is a fresh build completed in November 2024 with test/tune miles only.
