This custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a replacement 489ci stroker V8 engine built under previous ownership, bored .030 over, and features a forged rotating assembly, a Comp Cams XE284 camshaft, a Melling oil pump, Clevite bearings, ARP fasteners, a Cloyes timing set and Magnum rocker arms. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO-600 5-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle, equipped with a Centerforce dual-friction clutch and pressure plate, a McLeod flywheel, a custom driveshaft, Motive Gear 3.73 gears, Moser rear axles and an Auburn limited-slip differential. Under the hood, the engine is also equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Holley Street Avenger 4-barrel carburetor, a Powermaster starter, a Milodon oil pan, Taylor ignition wires, Doug’s tubular exhaust headers, a CVF Racing serpentine drive system and a Champion aluminum radiator. The exhaust system features Pypes dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40-Series mufflers. It is equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, Wilwood front calipers, Right Stuff rear calipers, and drilled and slotted rotors. The suspension system comprises Hotchkis springs, Koni shock absorbers and Calvert Racing rear traction bars. This Camaro rides on 18-inch American Racing wheels with Nitto G2 tires. Originally finished in Yellow (Y-Y) from the factory, the car was meticulously stripped to bare metal and repainted in Silver Metallic. The exterior also features a black nose stripe, electric hideaway lamps, a rear spoiler, and SS and 496 badging. The black leather upholstery interior cabin features reupholstered front bucket seats and a rear bench in black leather, complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels and carpets. Comprehensive sound insulation is provided by Dynamat. The three-spoke Momo steering wheel frames Dakota Digital VHX instruments, including a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer and auxiliary gauges. The interior is also equipped with an American Autowire wiring harness, a center console, retractable lap belts and a Hurst shifter. The sale includes a parts list and parts manuals. 2,200 miles since the rebuild.
