Details
A Pro-Touring custom, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro underwent a nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration and is powered by a fuel-injected GM LS3 V8 engine and console-shifted automatic transmission. The engine breathes through a cold-air intake and a full 2.5-inch exhaust system incorporating Pypes mufflers. It also features a Performance Rod & Custom radiator and dual electric fans, a March serpentine belt drive and transmission cooler. Chassis upgrades include subframe connectors, QA1 coilover shocks all around, tubular control arms up front and a 9-inch rear end located by a RideTech 4-link setup. Stopping power is provided by big, power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes mounted all around, including red-finished calipers. The power steering gear provides directional control and road contact provided by staggered Ridler custom wheels (18-inch front and 20-inch rear) with Falken Azenis performance tires. This first-year Camaro maintains its styling with the unmodified body finished in custom Gray Metallic paint and adorned by custom headlights and "SS" badges all around, plus factory-style front and rear spoilers. The black-upholstered custom interior features a center console with LED cupholders. The driver is greeted by a custom steering wheel, Ididit tilt steering column and custom carbon graphite-style dash housing a full set of AutoMeter gauges. Additional comfort and convenience items include a Vintage Air system, power windows and a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo head unit, with an amplifier driving four Arc Audio interior speakers and custom trunk-encased 12-inch subwoofer. It also features billet hood and trunk hinges and billet pedals, window cranks and interior door latches. Completing the look are custom floor mats and a fully finished trunk compartment that houses an Optima Redtop battery. This Resto-Mod has been driven less than 2,500 miles since completion.
