This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 8-cylinder engine backed by a GM 4L70E 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine sits in a smoothed engine bay with polished accents and is fitted with a polished sheet-metal intake, dressed in Corvette-script billet valve covers, with a polished radiator and ceramic-coated headers that lead to dual side-pipe exhaust. It sits on a custom-built silver powder-coated Street Shop frame with Art Morrison chassis rails fitted with C7 Corvette suspension, an independent rear suspension, multi-position adjustable coilovers and C7 Corvette brakes with 14-inch slotted rotors. It rides on a set of Schott Turbine 19x9-inch wheels in front and 19x11-inch wheels on the rear, all wrapped with Diamond Back performance white line tires. The body has been stripped backed to its fiberglass and refinished in custom Sky Blue paint. It features a Stinger power-actuated Dakota Digital hood, new glass and chrome, polished brightwork, weatherstripping and trim. It is also fitted with Detroit Speed power headlights and wiper motor with modern controls. The exterior also features a new Coffman Corvette matching soft-top. Inside, the Cream interior features low-profile custom contoured seats, a Vintage Air system, power steering, power hood control, E-Stopp emergency brake, Classic Instruments gauges and clock powered by a Classic Instruments Zeus Link, power windows, remote door locks, a remote battery cutoff and a Bluetooth retro-looking stereo for wireless iPhone or Android connection. This custom Corvette retains its original VIN and Trim Tags.
