This four-wheel-drive 1964 Ford F-350 custom crew-cab pickup was meticulously restored and is powered by a Cummins 5.9-liter 6BT 12-valve turbocharged diesel engine with a P-pump mated to a rebuilt Dodge 47RH 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission. The power is controlled seamlessly with a Compushift transmission programmer paired with a Ford 273 transfer case, Ford Dana 60 front differential and a 10.5-inch posi-traction rear differential with 3.73-gear ratio sourced from a late-model Ford F-350 Super Duty. The stainless-steel 3-inch exhaust adds a touch of performance. It is equipped with a factory automatic steering column, power steering and power hydro-boost four-wheel disc brakes. It is also equipped with a 31-gallon fuel tank, aluminum radiator and aluminum intercooler, and has auto hubs cleverly hidden under the original 1964 Ford bottle-cap hubcaps. This frame-off rotisserie restoration showcases a nut-and-bolt approach, utilizing the original 1964 Ford frame, now enhanced with modern Super Duty rear leaf springs and coil spring front suspension. New Old Stock (NOS) Ford parts were employed throughout, including a grille, headlight doors, emblems, rear bumper with original Ford chrome, and mirrors. It’s equipped with new wiring from Dennis Carpenter, a powder-coated frame, front door accessory zipper pouches and a side toolbox. It also features the original Ford front bumper with replated chrome, new brightwork chrome accents, all-new green-tinted glass and rubber seals, complemented by original Ford sheet metal. This F-350 rides on 17x8-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain heavy-duty tires. Finished in Rangoon Red with a tri-tone Wimbledon White paint scheme, this F-350 looks just like the factory intended in 1964. The interior boasts factory-style Ford bench seats with new upholstery and a Vintage Air Gen V system. The build has over 4,000 hours invested and was completed in November 2024.
