This 1956 Ford F-100 pickup is powered by a 289ci V8 small-block Ford engine mated to an automatic transmission. It is equipped with power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. The frame was modified and has a 1965/66 Ford Galaxie front clip, professionally installed by a NASCAR frame builder in Mooresville, NC. The interior features a black leather bench seat and tilt column. This pickup was previously owned and once frame-off restored by Dennis Carpenter of Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts Company, using four new old stock (NOS) Ford fenders and tailgate, along with all-new Dennis Carpenter parts used to build this pickup over 30 years ago. Years later, this pickup was given as a gift to an employee from Ford Restoration Parts Co. upon his retirement. who upon his death, his son inherited the pickup and the current owner purchased it in 2017.
