Description
The Volvo TP21 Radio Command Car was built by Volvo for the Swedish Armed Forces. The Swedish soldiers nicknamed it 'Sugga,' which means 'sow' or 'hog' due to the prominent snout and rounded back end. About 720 of these vehicles were made between 1953-58, and only a small number have survived. This modified version replaces the 90hp engine with a 572ci Chevrolet V8 engine rated at 620hp and 650 ft/lbs of torque. The big-block V8 is mated to a TH475 automatic transmission. Additional features include power steering, air conditioning, GPS navigation, a retractable LCD television in the back seat, a TracVision mobile satellite system and a PlayStation 4 console. For the ultimate tailgating experience, the rear trunk features a power retractable beverage cooler and another LCD television with exterior speakers concealed in the fuel cans. This vehicle was featured at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
