Details
In 1955, 1,725 Chrysler 300s were built and mostly for homologation purposes. This example has been fully restored within the last seven years. The car runs and drives well, powered by a 331ci HEMI V8 engine with dual Carter 4-barrel carburetors, producing a conservatively rated 300hp, backed by an automatic transmission. This Chrysler has been a Pacific Northwest car from new with no rust or rust repair, and its restoration was performed by a respected shop north of Seattle. It was built on May
18, 1955, two days ahead of schedule, as a power window-delete vehicle with a 3:54 rear end, Solex tinted glass, AM radio and factory heater. All original receipts, Build Card and Chrysler 300 Club Certification are included.
