In an unrestored, original state of preservation, this won the third place award at SAAC 11 in Dearborn. Listed in the Shelby Registry, it retains most of its original paint and interior and is powered by the Shelby-modified 428ci Police Interceptor V8 engine, which was fitted with 600 cfm Holley 4-barrel carburetors on an aluminum intake and given a factory rating of 355hp. gauges and fold-down rear seat, inboard fog lights and a non-louvered hood are rare details on this GT500, which also offers 10-spoke Shelby aluminum wheels wearing correct Goodyear tires.
