This wonderful, original MGTD is in rare survivor condition, having never been taken apart and still retaining its original interior panels, seats and dashboard. It is finished in the highly attractive and desirable factory color scheme of black with red trim with biscuit weather equipment. The car received one thin black repaint very early in its life, but over the years it has aged nicely. The original carpets have been replaced along with a very nice correct cloth biscuit top with a matching
side-curtain set. The car's interior trim overall has a lovely original aura to it which gives it a very period feel. There are also two interesting and unique door-mounted period ashtrays. Mechanically the car is very good. The car starts easily on the button, revs well with no smoke, has very good oil pressure and goes well down the road with no fuss. Once warmed up, it steers, brakes, handles and rides as expected for a typical and enjoyable MGTD of this period. The car's undercarriage is original and presents normal for the car's age and mileage.
