In 1970 there were 56,819 Torino GT hardtops built, but only 3,939 GT Torino convertibles produced. This is the real deal built in Lorain, OH. It's a real Code 37 convertible with M Code 351/300hp matching numbers powertrain. In 1970, Ford made some drastic changes to the Torino, it has wider fenders a short deck lid and a longer hood with a sporty scoop. The new stance for this beauty was lower than the previous years. As far as creature comforts go, there is air conditioning, power steering,
power brakes and of course a power top. Added to the GT package were hideaway head lamps and special GT wheels. Inside there are the highly sought after bucket seats with center console and floor shifter. To top this Torino off, it has a new base coat/clear coat correct yellow paint job. This beautiful GT drives and runs as good as it looks.
