Details

This 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS has undergone a complete restoration, and the drivetrain, suspension, rear end and brake system have been heavily customized. This true factory 118 Super Sport features the 4-bolt main blueprinted ZZ427 engine, which was updated and improved with a modern hydraulic roller camshaft that really broadens the torque curve. The aluminum oval-port cylinder heads with 100cc chambers bring the compression up to a pump-gas-friendly 10.1:1 compression ratio. The transmission is a B&M Racing's GM TH350 Street/Strip transmission that features firm shifts, a high-energy intermediate band, a new sprag assembly, a new low roller assembly and all new performance friction materials. Additional features include new steel forward hubs, recalibrated forward pattern automatic valve body and performance pump assembly. This transmission is built to handle up to 800hp with 650 ft/lbs of torque. Riding on a Nova Subframe suspension kit with tubular upper and lower control arms, aluminum body coilover shocks and springs, Torrington bearings, rack & pinion steering, and shafts with caster tuner bushings, forged spindles and a spanner tool for easy shock adjustments. The rear end has also been modified to handle the horsepower with a custom 9-inch rear end, disc brake conversion and Chevy II ladder bar rear suspension kit. A complete custom roll cage was installed and has the same pearl flake custom paint that's on the exterior. The car also has been mini-tubbed to feature a wider tire for the rear. The wheels are American racing wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires. There is all-new tinted glass all the way around, and a new interior, including door panels, carpet, seat upholstery, headliner, armrests, door handles and window cranks. The interior also features racing gauges and a console.
