This 1953 Ford Custom Line police car re-creation is powered by an original drivetrain with a Flathead 239ci V8 engine featuring upgraded Mercury heads, paired to a manual 3-speed transmission. The fuel system uses non-ethanol gas, and the carburetor has been rebuilt. The engine uses Valvoline 40 weight racing oil with zinc. It is also equipped with Fenton headers and a dual exhaust. It is finished to replicate an Alabama sheriff car with working light and siren. The car was completely rewired
with a Dennis Carpenter kit, an Optima battery and 6-volt system with generator. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood front disc brakes and rebuilt rear brakes.
