The winning bidder will receive the first retail production vehicle. A letter of authenticity will be provided. The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is an entirely new approach to the prestige luxury sedan. Thanks to innovative advances in vehicle construction, the CT6 offers all of the luxury, stature and spaciousness appropriate for a top-of-the-range sedan, combined with the driving dynamics and efficiency of a car a class smaller. The 2016 Cadillac CT6 will come with three power-dense engines, all mated to
8-speed automatic transmissions: the 400hp all-new Cadillac 3.0-liter Twin Turbo V6, which is the first V6 engine to incorporate twin turbocharging with cylinder deactivation and stop/start technology; an all-new 3.6L V6 producing 335hp; and the award-winning 265hp 2.0-liter turbo-four. Rear- and all-wheel drive will be available. Each of the seven available interior combinations have been designed to create a holistic environment that works together to please the senses. Custom stained exotic wood species are matched with exclusively custom woven carbon-fiber elements and Galvano chrome accents for a rich, yet understated feel. The CT6 will also take drivers to a higher threshold of involvement, with technologies that make them more aware of their surroundings. Cadillac is using an advanced mixed-material approach for the lightweight body structure of the upcoming CT6 range-topping sedan. The structure is aluminum intensive, but the new Cadillac also includes an additional 10 different materials customized for each area of the car to simultaneously advance driving dynamics, fuel economy and cabin quietness. 100 percent of the winning bid will benefit Karmanos Cancer Institute. The Karmanos Cancer Institute is a unique, integrated center of research, patient care and education, dedicated to the prevention, early detection, treatment and eventual eradication of cancer. Karmanos is based in southeast Michigan, in midtown Detroit, and is one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States. In fact, Karmanos is the only hospital in Michigan dedicated exclusively to fighting cancer. Caring for more than 6,000 new patients annually and conducting more than 700 cancer-specific scientific investigation programs and clinical trials, the Karmanos Cancer Center is among the nation's best cancer centers.
