A matched pair of these cars were used in 2006 as a part of a Miami Fashion Week promotion by Ford Motor Company to promote the Mercury Brand. This car was used in the as a part of the Miami Autoshow and Miami Fashion Week promotion. The Mercury Milan Voga was showcased by Rosalyn Sanchez, of CBS 'Without a Trace' fame and movies including the 'The Rock' and 'The Game Plan'. Camilo Pardo, the Ford GT Designer, personally oversaw the design of this particular model. All of the money raised from
the sale of this vehicle will go to 'Salute to Education' a non-profit charity that awards scholarships to high school seniors who demonstrate community service, academic achievement, leadership and strong educational and career goals.

Salute to Education, Inc., established in 1994, is a non-profit organization funded through dealership contributions, corporate support from Ford Motor Company and other fundraising events & efforts. In addition, the program receives support from a Scholarship Committee composed of Ford and Lincoln dealers and business, educational and civic leaders who take time out of their schedules to judge the scholarship applications. Community volunteer participation has been an integral part of the campaign's success.
