SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. ‒ January 24, 2022Barrett-Jackson, the World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, announced today that the final 2019 McLaren Senna built (Lot #1419.1) out of the 500 produced will cross the world-famous auction block with No Reserve during the company’s 50th anniversary celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale, January 22-30. This 2019 McLaren Senna has only 902 actual miles and is powered by an electrically actuated, twin turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 dry-sump engine.

255451_Interior“Bruce McLaren and Ayrton Senna are two of the most revered names in motorsports,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “McLaren is admired for his precise style that helped him co-drive the Shelby American team Ford GT40 with Chris Amon to overall victory at Le Mans in 1966. Three-time Formula One champion Senna was one of the greatest drivers in Team McLaren’s history, and one of the best in motorsports history as well. This rare and unique car is a tribute to a pair of men decades apart who both helped forge the McLaren legend.”

The McLaren Senna is the most track-focused road car McLaren has built, setting the fastest lap times of a McLaren to date. Inspired by one of McLaren’s greatest racing drivers, Aryton Senna, its 789hp and 590 ft/lbs of torque makes this supercar capable of 0-60 in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 208 mph. The extensive list of factory options totals $200,000, including a 24k gold heat shield, Gorilla Glass door panels and gloss-coated exposed carbon fiber with red accents.

“This 2019 McLaren Senna is in pristine condition and has an incredible provenance,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “The last of 500 built, it was sold by McLaren at auction in 2017 and raised $2.67 million to benefit Senna’s charity supporting youth in the late racer’s home country of Brazil.”
