The 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a first-production VIN within the Collectors Series. The VIN will directly correspond with the year represented on the car, so 911902 or 961902 depending on whether the bidder chooses automatic or manual. The inspiration behind this vehicle is Cadillac's 120th Anniversary, as well as Cadillac's history of invention and innovation. Only 120 vehicles will be built, each uniquely numbered to commemorate a specific year from 1902-2022. The CT5-V Blackwing is the most powerful Cadillac ever. It is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 (auction winner can select 6-speed manual transmission or 10-speed automatic), generating 668 horsepower and 659 lb/ ft. of torque and taking it from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. This special-edition vehicle features unique sill plates that include the Cadillac Crest design from the commemorative year, B-pillar builder's plate including graphic and commemorative year, unique manual transmission shifter medallion with 120th anniversary emblem, and a steering wheel plate with commemorative year. The winning bidder will work directly with Cadillac to customize the configuration of the vehicle. Also included are a VIP experience at the Lansing Grand River plant to meet the makers and current Cadillac Racing drivers; a VIP driving experience at V-Performance Academy at Spring Mountain Motor Resort in Pahrump, NV, with Barrett-Jackson Chairman and CEO Craig Jackson and other collectors of this commemorative-edition vehicle; a certificate of authenticity signed by Brandon Vivian, executive chief engineer of General Motors; photos of the vehicle coming off the line at Lansing Grand River; and a limited-edition, framed and signed one-of-one rending of the vehicle signed by designer Dillon Blanski. The build and ship date will reflect August 2022, the date of Cadillac's 120th anniversary. The entire sale price will benefit the SAE Foundation, which brings engineers and related technical experts into classrooms to provide STEM education solutions. **100% OF HAMMER PRICE TO BENEFIT THE SAE FOUNDATION** **WILL BE SOLD AT APPROXIMATELY 4:30 P.M.
