2005 FORD GT HENNESSEY 1000

This 2005 Ford GT has been modified by Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), who custom-installed twin 67mm turbos in conjunction with the factory supercharger to create the Hennessey/Ford GT1000. All parts and electronic upgrades were installed by HPE technicians at the HPE facility in Sealy, TX. HPE dyno-testing of this vehicle shows 850hp at the wheels and approximately 1000hp for the engine with flat-torque curve showing 699 ft/lbs of peak torque. The compounded boost is instantaneous with zero lag thanks to the retention of the factory Eaton 2.3-liter twin-screw supercharger. The HPE GT1000 upgrade is the only modification to the car. The red exterior with factory-painted over-the-top white stripes and GT1000 side stripes are vinyl. The OEM black interior is without modification, which includes the McIntosh stereo system. The car wears base aluminum rims as provided by Ford (only 7% of total GT production cars carried the base rims). There were 4,028 total GTs produced by Ford from 2005-06 model years. This car also had the control arm recall, and it carries Ford's super-expensive early fix for this recall, including billet aluminum control arms (front and rear, upper and lower) designed and installed by Ford in all eight positions. This car was garage-kept and covered when not on the road. Oil changes were performed by the owner using Amsoil 5W/50. It has a clean CARFAX and OEM take-off parts are included in the sale.
