Motortrend tested this tuned All Wheel Drive Golf and has credited it with 0-60 times of 3.2 seconds and 1/4 mile times of 11.49 @ 120.18 mph. In this years Car and Drivers Super Car Challenge, it placed third in sedan class beating out some of the most known brands.
