This stunning 1989 Porsche 911 Speedster is one of 823 delivered to the United States. Powered by an air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-6 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The model was introduced coincidentally at the same time of the Porsche 911’s 25th anniversary and paid homage to the legendary 356 Speedster racing cars. The 911 Speedster sported a removeable raked and frameless windshield and removed the front quarter-windows entirely. At the rear, a twin-humped fiberglass tonneau
replaced the back seats. The Speedster featured the flared bodywork of the 911 Turbo with a new front spoiler that integrated the fog lights. Stopping power is provided by a set of power-assisted ventilated disc brakes mounted at all four corners. The Speedster is presented in Grand Prix White with a red leather interior.
