Description
A 1983 Mercedes 300TDT Mercedes Station wagon and a 1983 Mercedes 500SE Police Interceptor sedan were combined to make this vehicle. It is powered by a rebuilt 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine mated to a rebuilt automatic transmission with a 2:21 rear-axle ratio. The brakes, bearings and suspension bushings have been replaced, and it features the reinforced 107 (500SL) rear sub-frame bushings. The exterior is finished in 1997 Jaguar Cabernet Metallic and refinished with a clear coat. The Saddle interior features restored wood, rear-facing back seats, electric sunroof, sound system, vacuum-operated central door-lock system and the original dash. The car has been lined with soundproofing material, including the doors and roof. This vehicle has been customized and restored. It rides on chrome wheels.
