This 1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle was purchased by its original owner in California in January 1979 and remained under the same ownership for 40 years. It was driven daily until 1989 when relocated to the East Coast where the car was then stored in a heated garage from 1989 until present. The car was driven 6,000 miles in that time and currently has 37,077 original miles (mileage not indicated on the registration). This car is original except for the tires, brakes, fuel pump, radio and other
maintenance items. It comes with service records, original maintenance books and the original bonnet. The only paint work done to the car is on the right front fender and apron due to a fuel spillage stain. This Super Beetle is powered by a fuel-injected 1584cc engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It’s equipped with 4-wheel drum brakes, as shown on the original Window Sticker.
