This custom 1979 Ford Bronco has undergone a no-expense-spared complete frame-off rebuild that took 2 years to complete and included everything being restored or replaced. Every effort was made to use OEM and American-made parts wherever possible. The Bronco is now powered by a Coyote 5.0-liter engine backed by a 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission with an electronically controlled BorgWarner transfer case. SPAL electric fans. Fat Fender stainless-steel long-tube headers are installed using Stage 8 locking fasteners and breath through a full stainless 2.5-inch dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. A new power brake booster was fitted with a Wilwood master cylinder to push the Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners with massive 6-piston calipers up front. The front Dana 44 and rear 9-inch differential was stripped down, powder-coated and rebuilt using all new gears, seals, bearings and axles. All suspension parts were powder-coated and a 4-inch lift was installed. The chassis rides on new American Racing 17-inch aluminum mags wrapped in BFGoodrich MT tires. The body was removed and stripped to bare metal. The bodywork and panel alignment were perfected and topped with a black PPG base/clear, with Freewheeling reflective sunset graphics added on top of the clear coat. The frame was stripped and coated using all PPG products. The removable hardtop has been restored, retextured and finished in matte black. It also features RestoMod brand heat and air conditioning as well as a new tilt steering column from Ididit with billet controls and AMP Research power side steps. The interior features new carpet and sound-deadener, TMI Bomber Brown front bucket seats and a rear split bench mounted on sliders (both sides recline). The center console and headliner have been custom-finished. The climate controls are RestoMod billet to control the under-dash HVAC unit, and the Bronco has Dakota Digital VHX silver-faced gauges. The electronic 4x4 control switch for the transfer case has been recessed into the dash just below the custom Autosounds head unit.
