This is the first Corvette pace car that was ever offered to the public for purchase. Chevrolet kept the first car produced, and the second was given to Al Unser as a gift for winning the Indy 500 in 1978. This car, serial number 1Z8748S900003, has 44 original miles. (Title reads exempt). It is equipped with the desirable L82 350ci V8 engine producing 220hp and backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.
