Details
The 1978 Corvette Indy Pace Car was a very unique model and production was limited to one vehicle per Chevrolet Dealer for a total of 6,502 Pace Cars produced. Dealers did have the ability to order the cars with a selected drivetrain and a few other option choices and luckily the car offered here today is positively the right one, built with the Hi-Performance L82 engine backed by a 4-speed transmission and Gymkhana performance suspension. The very rare sound system of AM/FM stereo with CB radio
was also selected. This car has never been driven beyond a very few service miles, today showing just 30 original miles. Climate controlled storage has kept the car excellent and regular service has kept operating system functioning correctly. No better example of a Corvette Pace Car exists than this as new, super low mile, L82 4-speed example.
