Details
This matching-numbers 1977 Pontiac Trans Am is powered by a Pontiac 400ci 8-cylinder engine with chrome valve covers. The engine was rebuilt two years ago, bored .30 over and finished in Pontiac Blue paint. The car has only been driven 200 miles since the engine rebuild. It has a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission with a mild shift kit, which was done along with engine rebuild. The car was repainted in the Bandit paint scheme prior to its purchase by its current owner five years ago. While
the engine was out of the car, the undercarriage and engine bay were cleaned and painted in black anti-rust paint. The car has a new period-correct gas tank and fuel lines, new rear suspension including leaf springs, new OEM-style radiator, and new battery and brakes. It also has a new true dual exhaust from the manifold to the classic Trans Am tips that exit behind rear tires. The car runs and drives well.
