1976 CADILLAC ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE

This 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible, the last model year for the production of full-size Eldorados, was manufactured in September 1975. It was purchased new at Don Massey Cadillac in Plymouth, MI, where the original owner resided. The original owner had it undercoated and rust-proofed, installed an alarm system and placed their initials, 'JFR,' on the upper dash. On June 12, 1996, the car, with fewer than 27,000 actual miles, was sold to the second owner who resided in Glen Ellyn, IL. It was

regularly serviced by Cadillac and had emission inspections completed. The consignor is the third owner. This car is powered by a 500ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission with 34,222 actual miles. It has not been restored and is finished in the factory-original Claret lacquer with the original factory-painted pinstripes on the hood and both doors. The original interior comes with the original front and rear Cadillac floor mats. The trunk features an electronic pull-down closer and includes the original spare tire with cover, jack, trunk mat, parade boot and soft boot. This car has always been garage kept and features new whitewall tires and a new convertible top in the factory-correct color with new fillers. The factory R12 air conditioning was recently serviced. The original owner's manual and original Cadillac brochure booklet are also included.
