With a frame-off restoration, this 4x4 CJ5 Renegade features all-new U-joints, brakes, lines and master cylinder. The power-steering gearbox has been rebuilt. It retains the factory-original 304ci AMC V8 engine and factory-original drivetrain. It has a 3-speed manual transmission, and a new exhaust system has been installed, including manifolds and muffler. The seats are original and re-covered as new from factory. Seatbelts have been installed and it has been fitted with a new Bestop soft-top.
The body has been finished in vibrant green with correct Renegade decals. The rare, original polished AMC slot mag wheels have been refinished to factory appearance and fitted with period-looking whitewall off-road capable tires. This rare Jeep has power steering, power brakes and the factory original V8 engine mated to 3-speed manual transmission. This rare Jeep Renegade drives as it should. 107 miles since restoration.
