Details
This Hurst Olds is a fine example of the muscle cars produced by Hurst performance and Oldsmobile. In 1972, Hurst produced 499 hardtops, of which 220 were sunroof cars like this one. It was one of 27 coupe festival cars at the 1972 Indy 500. This one was car #54, as listed in the 1972 Hurst/Olds Indy 500 registry. The car came standard with the Ram Air hood and Hurst dual-gate shifter. This particular car came equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, power windows, cruise
control, rear defogger, AM/FM factory stereo and factory 8-track player. Everything on this vehicle has been done correctly, just as it was when it first rolled out of the showroom in 1972. It is a real nice, clean driver. The inside of the trunk is signed by Linda Vaughn and Doc Watson. It features a 455ci engine with an automatic transmission.
