Details
This 1972 GMC is a full frame-off custom build with attention to detail and many custom features. The truck was first built in 2006 and has been refined since then. It was featured in Classic Trucks Magazine and Hot Rod Online in 2007. A 572/620hp GM Performance Parts crate engine with fuel injection provides the power. It is coupled to a GM Turbo 400 automatic transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive and Currie Enterprises 9” Ford traction-lock rear end with 31-spline axles. Other features
include a custom brake upgrade, power steering, aluminum radiator, fuel cell, hidden receiver tow hitch, custom exhaust, Boyd Coddington wheels, Ididit steering column with matching billet steering wheel, Vintage Air system, tinted glass and a custom dash with one-off custom-designed glove box door, radio bezel and gauge bezel. The truck is finished in Victory Red over a custom interior finished in Coffee Cream aircraft-class leather. It is a multiple award winner, and was included in the competition for the Goodguys Truck of the Year Award. No expense was spared in the completion of this C10.
