Details

This is nut-and-bolt restoration has recently had an extensive refresh and update done. This truck has had the same owner since 1993. The engine is a 454ci V8 engine that has been bored .030-inch, with small dome pistons, oval port heads with stainless valves and a COMP cam with roller rockers. This truck is equipped with a stock high-rise intake and a Holley Sniper EFI, full-length Hooker headers, and an aluminum radiator with a factory shroud and clutch fan. The engine is backed by a Turbo 400

3-speed automatic transmission with a B&M torque converter and a shift kit. The NP205 transfer case has been rebuilt, fully detailed and painted the body color. The rear axle is a 9.5-inch 14-bolt with 4.10 gears. The rear brakes are disc with a park brake. The front axle is a Dana 44 also with 4.10 gears and factory disc brakes. The whole chassis has been thoroughly detailed, painted and chromed. It has 4-inch lift springs in the front and rear with premium monotube shocks. The fuel tank is a custom aluminum piece with baffling. The body is completely restored and painted Laser Red (Mazda code NX) and white (GM code 120, then sanded and polished. All the body trim and glass are new. The grille shell is a NOS GM part. The interior is mostly original and done in medium saddle leather and factory wood grain. The instrument cluster is equipped with a new factory tachometer, a factory vacuum gauge and has a new bezel. The factory tilt steering column is painted to match and has a leather-wrapped Grant steering wheel.
