Details
One of the last models in Pontiac's GTO series, the Judge was inspired by the success of the Plymouth Road Runner and developed in 1969 as a cheaper version of the Muscle Car. Pontiac GM John DeLorean gave the car its unique name after overhearing the popular 'Laugh-In' TV show catch phrase 'Here comes da Judge.' This 1971 GTO Judge is an amazing example. It is one of 357 cars built, matching numbers down to the color and trim. It has been driven only 337 miles since its complete frame-off restoration. Every nut and bolt has been replaced, re-chromed or repainted. This is a PHS-documented car and a multi-award-winner that was displayed at Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum before arriving at Gateway Auto Museum.
