This 1971 Ford Mustang BOSS 351 was built June 10, 1971, making it one of the last Boss 351s to come off the Dearborn assembly line and into the history books. This car was special-ordered and delivered new to Gagelman Motor Company in Hays, KS. The car is in the Boss 351 registry with solid long-term two owners since new. The car is finished in bright blue metallic paint over a white vinyl interior. It is powered by its original matching-numbers 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission with the factory-installed Hurst shifter through the factory 3.91:1 rear end with a limited-slip differential. Factory options included are Traction-Lok differential, Sport deck rear seat, AM 8-track stereo radio and tinted glass. It is riding on Magnum 500 15-inch wheels wrapped in reproduction Firestone wide oval RWL tires. The car is equipped with power front disc brakes and a competition suspension with staggered rear shocks from the factory. The original interior package included high-back bucket seats, white vinyl and molded door panels. A two-tone steering wheel fronts an 8,000-rpm tachometer, speedometer and center-mounted auxiliary gauges. The car went through a complete bumper-to-bumper in-depth service earlier this year. This Boss 351 is offered with service records from current and past ownership, as well as books, records, paperwork and documentation since new, an Elite Marti Report, manufacturer's literature, a dealer invoice and title.
