Details
Completely media blasted and primed then paint with PPG Colorado Red. Insulated with Dynamat Extreme. Body modifications include air intakes outside of headlights made functional and connected to custom made air cleaner. Air containment plate from grille over top of radiator. Monte Carlo bar and brackets. Fiberglass fan shroud for 2-speed fan. Battery box removed and flat panel with reinforcing ribs made to replace indented area. Sheet metal filler plates between shock towers and fender. Export brace cover. AC lines rerouted outside of engine compartment. Adjustable motor mounts. Transmission tunnel raised 1 1/4' with custom transmission mount. Complete rollerized clutch linkage. Shock tower reinforcements, both inner and outer. Sub-frame connectors with internal tubing for enclosure of battery cable from trunk to starter motor. Notched and rolled fender lips. Inside rear wheel wells sliced and widened to avoid tire contact. Spare tire dimple removed from right rear well. Rear view mirrors are both remote electronically adjustable and both have turn signal light. Instrument panel is custom made for Auto Meter gauges. Billet fan/temp control housing. Custom counsel and housing for Air Ride controls. 427cid Dart block. 4340 forged crank and rods, roller hydraulic cam, Elderbrock heads, air-gap manifold, QFT carburetor. Vintage Air Front Runner AC with serpentine belt. 796hp @5400 rpm, 553 ft/lbs of torque @ 3900 rpm. EPA long tube ceramic coated headers, polished 304 stainless tubes with X pipe, Ford Racing stainless dual mode mufflers and stainless exhaust tips. McLeod scatter shield and RST twin disk clutch, TKO 5-speed transmission, aluminum driveshaft, rear end housing has been narrowed 1 1/4' on each side, 31-spline axles, 9' gear set with 3.70 ratio and traction lock. Upper and lower control arms have been boxed, upper arm had been dropped 1 3/4 'at mount and had an 8 degree rotation done to ball joint mount. Heavy duty sway bar with custom mount covers. TCP steering rack. Brakes are Baer front and rear with 13' rotors. Air Ride system with tank and controls in trunk next to battery. Budnik Cannon series rims with ceramic coated and polished outers. Tilt wheel out of a '75 Ford Galaxy, seats are '87 Ford T-Bird with inflatable lumbar support. Front and back seats are upholstered in leather. Inside rear view mirror has integrated interior dome light as well as map light. Upholstered door panels and upholstered trunk. Electric windows, cruise control, variable speed window wipers and interior operated hood and trunk release. Ron Francis 24/7 wiring system, Hella headlights with halogen H4 bulbs, third brake light and security system.
