Details
Ford's answer to GM and Chrysler's foray to the SCCA Trans Am racing series. Styled by Larry Shinoda, the Boss featured a reflective C-stripe, rear air scoops, a unique 302ci high-performance solid-lifter engine, 4-speed manual transmission, heavy-duty brakes and heavy-duty suspension. This particular Boss 302 was sold new at Griffiths Motors in Edson, Alberta, Canada. It was ground-up restored and has been refinished in its factory-correct Competition Yellow. It's powered by a rebuilt 302/290hp V8 engine that has test miles only, backed by a Toploader wide-ratio 4-speed manual transmission, and features a Shaker hood, rear window slats, and front and rear spoilers. It's equipped with a 3.50 rear axle, power steering, AM radio and F60-15 Firestone wide oval tires on Magnum 500 road wheels. This Boss 302 is documented by a Deluxe Marti Report.
