It is powered by a date-code correct DOZE 302/290hp V8 engine teamed with a close-ratio Borg Warner Toploader 4-speed manual transmission with Hurst T-handle shifter and 3.91:1 Traction-Lok differential. The Boss 302 package also incorporated quick-ratio steering, competition suspension, staggered rear shocks,
front disc brakes, front chin spoiler and Magnum 500 wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tires. This sharp example also offers power brakes, rear window sport slats, rear spoiler and the desirable Shaker hood.
