Details
This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 convertible is a true LS6 authenticated by Jerry MacNeish. This LS6 has its original matching-numbers, born-with LS6 454/450hp V8 engine, Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. Other original components include the brakes, fuel lines, fuel/smog pump, starter, carburetor, alternator, brackets and all control arms. This LS6 convertible was professionally rotisserie restored to factory specs by renowned Musclecar Restoration & Design in Pleasant Plains, IL. The restoration was completed in July 2021. The exterior is expertly finished in its original Forest Green color with white SS stripes and a white convertible top over a black bucket-seat interior with a center console. This LS6 also features a cowl-induction hood with hood pins, a power convertible top, power steering and power brakes with front discs. It rides on 15-inch 5-spoke SS wheels wrapped in Firestone wide oval tires. MacNeish is quoted in his report as saying, 'This is the first LS6 Chevelle convertible that I've certified with its complete original drivetrain.'
