1969 PONTIAC GTO JUDGE RAM AIR III

Details

This is a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge with 30,645 miles (the title reads mileage exempt). This GTO is powered by a Ram Air III 400ci V8 engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. The current owner purchased the car in 2010 from the previous owner, who was a GTO restoration expert and used this car as a 'model' or 'guide' to restore other Judge cars. The car served in that capacity, and has remained largely unrestored and only repaired as needed. Aside from the current owner, this vehicle was last

registered in 1971. Has a complete set of authentication paperwork from PHS, original Build Sheet, Protect-O-Plate and other documents. The 3-speed transmission is a Ford Toploader, which is reflected on the Build Sheet from the factory. Another feature of the car is that it does not have a console because of the transmission shifter location. The car was repainted with the original paint in single stage, with the door jambs remaining original and never repainted. The headliner sagged due to age and was replaced. The engine was carefully disassembled, and then reassembled with the original parts (except gaskets and seals) then repainted. The interior is original aside from the headliner, and the body has never been removed from the chassis and carries the original body bushings. The exhaust system was replaced with the correct system.
